Ownership of Your Photos
You always retain ownership of the photographs you submit.
By placing a custom order, you confirm that:
You own the photos you provide, or
You have permission from the photographer or copyright owner to use them.
The Junkyard Pets is not responsible for photographs submitted without proper permission.
How Your Photos Are Used
Your photos are used only for purposes related to your order, including:
Creating your artwork
Matching your pet's colors and markings
Clarifying design details
Communicating with you throughout the creation process
With your permission, we may also use your submitted photographs alongside the finished artwork to showcase the transformation from photo to handcrafted piece.
Your original photos will never be sold, licensed, or shared with third parties.
Ownership of the Artwork
Every artwork created by The Junkyard Pets is an original artistic interpretation based on the photos you provide.
The copyright to the artwork remains the property of The Junkyard Pets unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Purchasing artwork gives you ownership of the physical item or digital file—it does not transfer the copyright.
Personal Use
You are welcome to:
Display your artwork in your home.
Share photos of your artwork on social media.
Gift the artwork to family or friends.
Print digital artwork for your own personal use, if your purchase includes printable files.
Commercial Use
Artwork created by The Junkyard Pets is for personal use only.
Artwork may not be:
Sold or resold.
Used for commercial products.
Printed for resale.
Used in advertising or marketing.
Reproduced for business purposes.
Altered and redistributed.

Sharing Finished Artwork
I love celebrating the pets I create and sharing finished pieces with future customers.

Marketing materials
Your personal information will never be included without your permission.
If you would prefer your artwork remain private, simply let me know when placing your order, and I will gladly honor your request.
Progress Photos & Previews
During the creation process, you may receive progress photos and previews of your artwork.
These previews are provided solely to review your order and request revisions.
Preview images may include a watermark and may not be copied, reproduced, edited, shared, or used for any purpose other than reviewing your artwork before completion.
Finished Digital Files
If your purchase includes a digital portrait, you may:
Save your digital file.
Print it for personal use.
Share it on personal social media.
Digital files may not be:
Resold.
Distributed to others.
Used commercially.
Uploaded to print-on-demand marketplaces or other selling platforms.
